No matter which Piranha prop you decide to talk about at least one feature remains constant throughout the range.
That feature is of course the ability to change blades by yourself ... anywhere ... in just a few minutes ... without special tools or skills ... Wow.
How Clever Is That?
The following images illustrate how easy it really is to get back out on the water and enjoy your week-end instead of packing up and heading home.
So you've damaged a prop ... lucky it's a Piranha prop so it's no big deal.
All you need to do is fit a new blade and Hey Presto ... you just saved a week-end.
How do you fit a new blade? ... It's easy.
Tilt up the outboard motor or stern drive so you can get at the broken blade ... better still ... slip the boat out on a trailer if you have one nearby.
Tap the broken blade out of the hub ... install a new blade ... fit the end cap ... tension up the propeller retaining nut and you're back in business.
Assuming you replaced every damaged blade ... the propeller is balanced and as good as new.
The hub is covered by a lifetime warranty so you've just reconditioned your prop ... by yourself without any special tools or skills ... like we said ...
